1. What is the vision and purpose of NorthLake Church?

Our purpose is given to us by Jesus Christ in the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20). We desire to obey, fulfill and live out Jesus’ instructions given after His resurrection. These instructions are to be carried out and fulfilled until Jesus comes again. The bottom line is that we at NorthLake are convinced: Jesus, the Living Water, changes everything…1 life at a time! Our vision echoes this: Connecting with God, people and community. As this vision for connection takes place, people are led into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and the Great Commission is fulfilled!

2. How many Services do you have?

We currently have one Sunday service at 10:30am. At Northlake, we value the united community, and we find that a single service helps everyone to connect better.

3. What should I wear?

Our style is very casual. The Bible is very clear that God is more concerned with our inner thoughts and attitudes than our clothes. Come as you are.

4. What will the music be like?

We believe that even on “our” worst day... there is a God who is worthy of worship and celebration. Our music style revolves around celebrating Christ and His work in our lives. You can expect a lot of the music to be upbeat with a mixture of contemporary praise and hymns that focus on Christ.  Our worship is expressed through fellowship and encouragement one to another, through singing songs together that lift high the glory of God and the accomplishments of Christ, and through the study of God's Word that always points our hearts and minds to our Redeemer and King, Jesus Christ.

5. What is the preaching like?

Our Sunday morning corporate worship service aims to make known the glory of God by studying and proclaiming the person and work of Jesus Christ. When we join together to worship, we know that all we do takes place before the face of God. Thus, we seek to have a spirit of worship no matter what we are doing. We desire that people not leave our service with a check-list of items to perform during the week but with a fresh encounter with the risen Christ that causes them to worship and obey Him during our time together and carries on in their everyday life.

6. What does ministry to children look like on a Sunday morning?

We minister to children from birth to fifth grade during our 10:30am service. Jesus said, "Let the children come to me," – we are with Jesus. Jesus placed a high value on children and so do we.
*We take ministry to children seriously, all of our children and youth ministry volunteers are screened through a national background check.

We seek to serve parents and children by providing a safe and fun outlet for the children. Our children's ministries provide gospel-centered teaching and instruction for ages 0-12.

7. Do you have a youth ministry?

Yes, we have a youth ministry for students 6th grade-12th grade. We meet Wednesday night 7:00pm-8:30pm at the church. Following worship, the youth meet for their own teaching time. We believe a lot of life-change happens during these years and are all about making young lives count for eternity. (Note: our summer location & times will be different. Check our facebook page or Youth Ministry page for updates.
